Based on silicone and hydrogel technology that makes it difficult for fouling organisms to adhere to the hull and facilitates their removal when the boat is in motion. The hydrogel creates an invisible barrier between the hull of the ship and the water, so that the organisms perceive the hull as a liquid and do not adhere or do so in an infinitely smaller proportion.
The result of the application of the hydrogel is also, despite a higher initial cost, a lower long-term maintenance cost, easier cleaning, fuel savings and an increase in the speed of the boat.
The hull is cleaned with movement and the greatest speed, so it is indicated on fast boats that do not spend long periods in port. Even so, cleaning is easy, since it is enough to pass a dense cloth or sponge to clean the algae that may have adhered. The operation can be performed repeatedly since if the original hydrogel is removed, a new layer instantly forms when the polymer responsible for the formation of the hydrogel comes into contact with water.
